Advanced Open Water Course Description

Pacific Quest’s Advanced Program is the next step after your Open Water Certification. Whether you’ve made 100 dives, the Advanced program offers experience in five specialty areas. The mandatory dive in this program is the Deep dive. In addition to this dive, you will also make four other specialty dives like Navigation, Night, Search & Recovery and Peak Performance Buoyancy. These five dives by far offer the most needed skills necessary to dive the world.

Two classroom sessions (optional)

Five Open Water Dives

Required Academic Materials:

PADI Adventures in Diving Crew Pack

Prerequisites:

Must be 10 years of age or older.

Medical statement/release

Open Water certification or equivalent from a recognized agency.

Required Materials & Equipment:

Personal snorkel gear

Full “cold water” scuba equipment (rentals available)

Dive light and back up light.

One cyalume glow stick or equivalent

Underwater compass
