Divemaster Course Description

As a Divemaster student you will learn dive physics, physiology, diving equipment, dive planning and the environment . This can be done online or through formal class room sessions. The Divemaster course will teach you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities. There will be knowledge development sessions and waterskills exercises. You will learn about diver safety and risk management, you will assist with student divers and conduct dive briefings.

Prerequisites: You must be 18 years or older, have medical clearance to dive, logged at least 40 dives, have your CPR & First Aid certification within 24 months and have your Rescue Diver Certification.
